Yesterday there was a beautiful event named as "World Halal Summit 2019" arranged by #OIC - SIMIT in the historical city of Istanbul. Being a student of MBA it was a great experience to observe the B2B meetings .it was an opertunity to know about Halal food market, its advantages and its scope in future. I met many people from all over the Muslim world and they discussed their business models and their collaboration with other nations and how they are expanding their businesses across the world.I was amazed to know about Indonesian entrepreneurship model by providing the basic capital and business assistance to the Madrasas (Religious) schools by the Provincial Government to launch their own businesses using the same students as human resource and to provide quality goods and services to community to earn profits which are then distributed for paying the loan back to Government in parts, to pay the wages and to provide money for development of Madrasas and Mosques, so by doing this at the same time they are empowering and training young blood and making the religious institutions a profit able entities who are not dependent on Zakat.There were some presentations of detailed scientific research on Halal meat and scientific discussion about the methods to know "weather the meat is halal or not? " even its still not possible to know it. But scientists described its different dimensions and the framework of their future research work. In this event there was a "Startup" corner in which the students shown up their ideas and business proposals to get investments, and no doubt these ideas were amazingly useful and profitable at the same time. Luckily, I got people from some IT and software companies and shall visit Istanbul Tech Park soon because there is a lot of space between Pakistan and Turkey for IT industry, Turkey have the advantage of European market and Pakistan have low cost human resources. So if we can manage it, it would be a good thing for our local software houses in Pakistan who are relying on outsourcing from other countries. We can fill the gap and we will fill it.
